Albert R. Barber, 91, of Walton passed away Feb. 9, 2024, at O’Connor Hospital in Delhi surrounded by family. Albert, known to most as “Al,” was born in Town of Butternuts, to the late William and Alice (Daniels) Barber July 8, 1932. He was a graduate of Laurens Central High School. He married Marian Grotevant on Aug. 30, 1956.
A graveside service will take place May 18 at 11 a.m., at the Walton Cemetery with Pastor Lisa Mays officiating. Arrangements are being made by Courtney Funeral Home. Following the graveside service the family would like to invite everyone to the Walton Fire Hall, 59 West St, Walton.
