The Tri-County Senior Center is in the back of the hospital building at 43 Pearl Street and is open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 to 2. Current activities include: a social hour for veterans plus seated exercise on the first Wednesday of the month; a movie on the second Wednesday; exercise or Xbox bowling on the third Wednesday; and a monthly meeting and social hour at 10:15 on the fourth Wednesday; Pitch and Hand and Foot cards on Thursdays, and Mahjong on Fridays. Board games, puzzles, DVDs and books are always available for use at the center or at home, and new activities can be scheduled whenever there is interest. Come enjoy a new story walk on Main Street. The walk begins on the corner of Adams and Main streets. Follow the posts to the library where the story ends. “Fireflies in the Night” by Judy Hawes is being featured.

Thursday, July 31 at 1 p.m. Shaun Robison, a magician, will present his program at the Unatego Elementary School gum. Experience magic up close with Shaun’s interactive performances that engages the audience and creates lasting memories. The program is sponsored by the Unadilla Public Library.
The Unadilla Free Summer Concert Thursday, July 24 with Sidney Community Band Sound from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on the Community House Lawn. Ice cream sundaes and water will be available, plus a 50/50 raffle to help fund the Unadilla Historical Associations many projects and programs.
