SUNY Delhi defeats Cazenovia 100-74 to advance to NAC West Final

DELHI - SUNY Delhi Mens Basketball hosted the first round of the NAC West Tournament, defeating fourth-seed Cazenovia 100-74, Friday, Feb. 17. The offense came alive as the Broncos continue to remain undefeated at home this season, going 13-0.
 
In the first half, the Broncos carried over their momentum from the last game, finding success working the ball in the paint. They scored 22 of their 50 points down low as the Green and Gold went into the half up 50-33. Two Broncos led the way in scoring: Jacob Beach and Lester McCarthy combined for 27 points. They controlled the half, leading by as much as 21 points at one point late in the half.
 
Delhi held their sizable lead through the second half as the offense never let up. This was the fourth time this season that the Broncos scored over 100 points.  McCarthy recorded the game-high 27 points as he went 50% (5-for-10) from three. He ended with a 10 rebound, double-double. Beach scored 24 points while putting up seven rebounds and four assists.
