The annual Trout Run 5K steps off at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 28, at Will Smith Memorial Park on Front Street in Deposit. The course will be a USA Track & Field-certified 5K this year.
The race is hosted by the Deposit Chamber of Commerce and falls on a Free Fishing Weekend, meaning no fishing license is required, making it a fantastic family-friendly activity!
Registration for the 5K run/walk is $33 at RunSignUp.com (search for Trout Run 5K) and closes June 25, 2025, at 11:59am EDT. Race check-in begins at 8 a.m. June 28.
Attendees can enjoy Brooks BBQ with delicious options for purchase in support of the Deposit Lumberjack Festival.
Runners (or anyone needing a boost) can take advantage of energy IV treatments offered by Wellness Centered for a fee.
