ONEONTA — The Dave Brandt Chapter of Trout Unlimited will hold its monthly meeting on Monday, May 12 at 7 p.m. at The Plains Senior Living Center, 163 Heritage Place. The gathering, open to the public, will take place in the third-floor meeting room.

The featured speaker will be Amy Wyant, executive director of the Otsego County Conservation Association (OCCA). Wyant will present on regional environmental initiatives, as the two organizations explore opportunities for joint conservation projects.

The meeting will also include a report from the chapter’s “Trout in the Classroom” committee. In recent days, students released more than 500 brown trout into four local streams as part of the environmental education program. Details of the stocking locations will be shared during the evening.

Following the presentation, members will convene briefly for organizational business. Coffee, refreshments, and a small raffle—with prizes available for $1 tickets—will close out the evening. Guests are welcome.
