Thursday is Senior Citizens’ Day at the fair, and seniors can enjoy $5 admission. Between activities, stop by the Office for the Aging’s booth in the commercial tent to learn about benefits, programs and services available.

The Curtis Lumber Entertainment Court will be busy all afternoon with performances scheduled from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. including Buffalo & Barfield, Singing Oldies Mary Frances Perricone, Cowboy Circus and more.

There will be an informational booth on saving money in the Human Ecology Building all day.

At 9 a.m., watch the Antique Tractor Pull on the track. The event features machines from 1964 and older.

Several open class livestock shows are held this day including the hunter division horse show at 9 a.m. at the horse ring and the cattle and beef show at 9:30 a.m. in the dairy barn. The 4-H swine show will be held at 9 a.m. in the livestock barn, followed by the Sheep Olympics and dress-up contest at 6:30 p.m. Watch 4-H members guide their sheep through an obstacle course or dress up their animal (and themselves) for the costume contest.

Finally, the Ernie Hanselman Memorial Pull will be held on the track at 7 p.m. The event costs $5 and features 10,000lb–farm tractors and street legal 4x4 gas trucks.
