A Closer Look at the Natural World With Rick Bunting

Posted

Nature photographer and naturalist Rick Bunting will bring the small wonders of the natural world into sharper focus Sept. 18 when he presents a program for the Delaware-Otsego Audubon Society.

Bunting, a retired educator and musician who spent much of his career at SUNY Potsdam and the Crane School of Music, now devotes his time to photography. His work often magnifies the smallest creatures and details of the natural world, offering audiences a closer look at subjects that can easily go unnoticed.

During the program, Bunting will explore the variety of nature’s gifts and the sense of wonder they inspire. His presentation combines photography and storytelling with humor and an appreciation for the natural world.

The program, titled “Wonders of It All,” will begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, at Elm Park United Methodist Church, 401 Chestnut St., Oneonta. Doors open at 7 p.m. The program is free and open to the public, with refreshments and light snacks available.

The presentation will also be available through Zoom. Advance registration is required for remote attendance. https://tinyurl.com/RickBunting-WondersofitAll
