STAMFORD-The Catskill Mountain Little League wrapped up their 54th season on Monday, June 29, with an awards presentation for tee ball, minors and majors divisions followed by an ice cream social sponsored by Stewart’s Shoppes and the majors championship game. League President Bill Abbatine said despite a wetter season than normal, there was a dedicated team to help on all fronts with great coaches who demonstrated their commitment to the kids and sportsmanship from all players. The additions of a Junior 14U baseball division and 16U softball division who start their games next week, bring the total number of League members to nearly 300 participants.
