The 22-year-old Catskill Mountain Club, a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to hiking, paddling, and biking, is rolling out its April schedule of member-led adventures. In addition to outdoor recreation, the Club advocates for non-motorized trail access throughout the Catskills.
Upcoming hikes include:
• Dry Brook Ridge via Huckleberry Loop – Saturday, April 11, 8 a.m.–6 p.m.
• Alder Lake Loop and Touch-Me-Not Trail – Sunday, April 12, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
• Balsam Mountain – Wednesday, April 15, 8 a.m.–1 p.m.
• Alder Lake to Balsam Lake Mountain via Mill Brook Ridge – Saturday, April 18, 8 a.m.–4 p.m.
• Mongaup Pond Loop – Sunday, April 19, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
• Kaaterskill High Peak & Huckleberry Point – Wednesday, April 22, 8 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
