Walton Theatre Parlor Gallery, 30 Gardiner Place, Walton, will host an opening reception for Patchwork Landscape, an exhibit featuring new paintings created by GG Stankiewicz Oct. 7, from 4-6 p.m. The paintings highlight the colors, shapes, patterns and textures of the wild plants and fungi native to Delaware County. The artist describes them as a close-up conversation with the local environment and how it changes through the seasons.
