The Roxbury Arts Group is proud to host an intimate night with Buffalo Nichols, who will perform solo Friday, Aug. 18 at 7:30 p.m. at the Roxbury Arts Center. Heralded as a trailblazer in the blues world, Nichols has devoted his career to the mission of bringing the blues of the past into the future, infusing it with rich Black stories and cultural heritage while experimenting with the versatility of modern production.
The Roxbury Arts Center will provide the backdrop for Buffalo Nichols’ soulful and introspective performance. To encourage the appreciation of blues music among young audiences, as always, the Roxbury Arts Group offers free admission to anyone age 16 and under. For other attendees, advance tickets are available at $24, with special advance pricing of $22 for older adults. For those seeking tickets at the door, they will be available for $29 on the day of the event.
Tickets can be obtained online through the Roxbury Arts Group website or at the door. Given the limited seating available, attendees are encouraged to secure their tickets in advance and be part of this transformative celebration of blues music.
