Two hundred and ninety-four SUNY Oneonta students earned provost’s list honors for the spring 2026 semester. To qualify a student must earn a perfect 4.0 grade-point average while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more. Delaware County residents on the provost’s list: Elaina Bull of Hamden, Michael Mazzarella of Sidney, Lucille Menke of Delhi, Chance Molina of Margaretville, Anna Tomeo of Sidney, Linda Wallenthin of Davenport, Isabella Yetto of Walton.

One thousand two hundred fifty-five SUNY Oneonta students earned dean’s list honors for the spring 2026 semester including the following Delaware County resident. To qualify for the dean’s list, a student must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.

Cooper Cohen of Delhi was recognized as an Andrew B. Saxton Undergraduate Fellow in Sociology during the college’s honors convocation held April 29. Fellows are selected by faculty in each department to honor outstanding achievement in their respective fields. They serve as student assistants within their major department and receive a tuition credit.

Cooper Cohen of Delhi also received the Dornburgh Memorial Award in History during honors convocation April 29. Established in memory of Edmund Leigh Dornburgh Jr., a student assistant in the history department, the award recognizes the student with the highest academic average in the department.

Connor van der Sommen of Sidney was named to the Elmira College dean’s list for the winter 2026 term. Full-time undergraduate students registered for at least 12 computable credit hours and earning a term grade point average of 3.6 or higher at the end of Term I or Term II are placed on the college’s dean’s list.
