UNADILLA - The Unadilla Community Chest has launched its annual fundraising campaign, seeking donations to support local organizations that provide essential services throughout the Town and Village of Unadilla and the Wells Bridge area.
The campaign, which runs from July through October, serves as a key source of funding for a range of nonprofit and community organizations. Community Chest officials said contributions made by residents and businesses are distributed to groups that assist families, children and individuals across the region.
During the past year, the organization provided financial support to 14 local groups, including food pantries, fire departments, emergency medical services, scouting organizations, the humane society and the American Red Cross.
Organizers emphasized that donations of any size can make a difference in sustaining programs and services that benefit area residents throughout the year.
The Unadilla Community Chest is a nonprofit organization that relies entirely on charitable contributions to continue its mission of supporting community-based services.
