Delhi’s community harvest dinner, known as “The Delhi Dish-to-Pass,” will mark its seventh year on Sunday, Sept. 20 from 4 -7 p.m. on Courthouse Square in Delhi. The gathering has become an annual September tradition, with people from across the community coming together for a convivial evening of food and music.

The Stoddard Hollow String Band has been a mainstay and will again provide lively musical entertainment. Flowers to decorate the tables are provided annually by the Birdsong Farm Community Garden.

“The dinner is a celebration of this special place we live in and brings together people from all walks of life”, said Ian Lamont, one of the founders of the dinner and a Delhi Village resident. “No program, no agenda, no fundraising. Just a meal with your neighbors.”

The Delhi Dish-to-Pass is free and open to all. One long table will be set up on the Courthouse Square. Attendees are encouraged to bring food to share and their own table settings. If there is rain, the event will move to the fellowship hall of the United Ministry Church on the Square.
