Congregation B’nai Israel in Fleischmanns, 347 Wagner Ave off Route 28, is open for the summer season.
Services are led by Cantor Shai Simonson.
Shabbat services are Fridays at 7 p.m. and Saturdays at 9:30 a.m. Saturday services are followed by a kiddush.
Services are egalitarian and congregants are welcome to participate. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people and be part of an active Jewish community.
One need not be a member or know Hebrew. Singles, couples and families welcome.
Planned activities for this summer include field trips, study groups, baking classes, pot luck dinners, craft classes, community volunteer projects and other events.
