FLEISCHMANNS — Congregation B’nai Israel will welcome the community for Rosh Hashanah services beginning Friday, Sept. 11, at 6:30 p.m. at the synagogue at 347 Wagner Avenue in Fleischmanns.

Services will continue Saturday, Sept. 12, and Sunday, Sept. 13, and will be led by Cantor Shai Simonson.

Congregation B’nai Israel is a conservative egalitarian synagogue that has been part of the Catskills community for more than 100 years.

Membership or tickets are not required to attend the High Holy Days services. Organizers said the services offer an opportunity for community members and visitors to participate in the holidays and meet others in the congregation’s spiritual community.

Yom Kippur services will follow Sunday, Sept. 20, and continue Monday, Sept. 21. A Yizkor memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday.
