Three covered bridges will be temporarily closed in May for routine inspections, with detours in place for motorists.
The Hamden Covered Bridge over the West Branch of the Delaware River, will close Monday, May 11 at 7:30 a.m. through Tuesday, May 12 at 6 p.m.
The Downsville Covered Bridge over the East Branch of the Delaware River, will close Wednesday, May 13 at 7:30 a.m. through Friday, May 15 at 6 p.m.
Fitches Covered Bridge in Delhi over the West Branch of the Delaware River, will close Saturday, May 16 at 7:30 a.m. through Monday, May 18 at 9 a.m.
Drivers are advised to use alternate routes during all closures.
