SUNY Delhi Student Veterans Association & Friends present Conversations Remember & Honor will be held Nov. 11 at 3 p.m. at the Okun Theatre in the Farrell Center at SUNY Delhi. There will be no parade. There will be a ceremony at 11 a.m. at Delhi’s Courthouse Square.
Downsville
Downsville Central School will host a Veterans Day luncheon and ceremony Nov. 8. The luncheon will begin at 12:45 p.m. and the ceremony will begin at 1:30. Margaretville Central School will hold a Veterans Day ceremony Nov. 8 at 8:30 a.m. with a breakfast to follow. RSVPs are appreciated. Contact Carol at 845-254-5072.
Sidney
ClearPath for Veterans Delaware County Quarterly Mobile Canteen will be held at the Sidney VFW Post 7914 Nov. 8 from 4-6 p.m., at 133 West Main Street, Sidney. Monday, Nov. 11 there will be a ceremoney and chicken and biscuit dinner at the American Legion Post at 22 Union Street at 5 p.m.
Walton
Walton Vets Club will host a parade from Gardiner Place to World War II Memorial (old armory) on Stockton Ave. Line up at 10:30 a.m. The parade kicks off at 11 a.m. A luncheon will follow at the Vets Club on Park Street which is free to parade participants and by freewill donation from others.
