DELHI — Delaware County will honor its veterans as part of the county’s commemoration of the nation’s 250th anniversary with a group photograph Saturday, Oct. 10, at 11 a.m. at the Soldiers Monument on Courthouse Square.
All Delaware County veterans are invited to participate, including members of the American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary, Sons of the American Legion, American Legion Riders, Veterans of Foreign Wars and veterans who are not affiliated with an organization.
In case of rain, the photograph will be taken at the Delhi American Legion Post at 41 Page Ave.
Each participating veterans organization will receive an individual photograph and a group photograph. Veterans attending the event also will receive a commemorative coin designed for Delaware County’s 250th anniversary celebration.
