• Delaware County Treasurer - Carli Pinner. Pinner beat challenger Ronda Williams 1,280-998, county-wide. Williams will face Pinner again in November for the general election from the Conservative line.
“This win means the world to me. I’m not a political insider, I work full-time, and this rain-soaked spring made door-to-door (our main focus) a real challenge. But we kept going. We stayed on budget, stayed positive, and hoped my credentials would speak for themselves. And they did, because of you,” Pinner said in a post-election interview. “To everyone who opened their door, hosted a sign, or offered a kind word along the way: thank you. We ran this campaign with heart and honesty, and I’m so proud of what we accomplished together.”
Paula Brown, spokesperson for Pinner’s campaign, underscored the campaign’s commitment to “transparency, fairness, and earning the voters’ trust—not bypassing it.”
Brown addressed public confusion surrounding how Pinner’s opponent, Ronda Williams, secured the Conservative Party line without facing a primary, calling the concern “valid” and deserving of explanation from those involved.
With the primary results now determined, Brown noted that Williams has five days to voluntarily remove herself from the general election ballot, should she choose. The process, she added, is standard election procedure and requires a notarized statement of withdrawal.
“We feel that voters spoke clearly in this primary, their voice is respected, and not undermined. This race should be decided at the ballot box, not behind closed doors,” Brown said.
• Colchester Supervisor - Robert Hafele. Hafele bested incumbent Arthur “Art” Merrill 220-98. They will both appear on the independent line in November. Of the win, Hafele said, “I appreciate everyone who came out to exercise their right to vote, regardless of the candidate they showed support for. My campaign has a tremendous amount of work to do before November 4.” Hafele will also run on the Conservative line in November's election.
• Hancock Supervisor - David Rubera. Rubera defeated incumbent Jerry Vernold 192-131. They will both appear on the independent line in November. Of his win, Rubera said, “Thank you Hancock Republican voters who elected me as their nominee for town supervisor in the primary election. Now we must focus on the general election so we can get to work as soon as possible to make Hancock a better place to live and work.” Vernold will also run on the Conservative line in November's election.
• Meredith Supervisor - Incumbent James “Jim” Ellis beat challenger Rich Pagillo 72-27.

• Walton Council Members - Kevin Armstrong and Luis Rodriguez-Betancourt were the top vote getters with 367 and 274 votes, respectively, beating out challenger Patrick White, who received 156 votes.
