The Roxbury Arts Grant is honored to present the Delaware County Arts Grant for 2024, made possible by New York state funding. The application is available at roxburyartsgroup.org and guidelines for the grant are attached which detail funding priorities, eligibility, sponsorship, and document requirements.
The final due date for applications on the website is 4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024.
Goals for the grant are making quality arts programming available to all Delaware County residents and visitors, assisting emerging arts organizations, supporting the artistic expression of Delaware County’s diverse cultural groups, and making arts programming accessible to underserved and minority communities.
Three types of grants are presented this year, and a single applicant is able to submit up to three project requests in any combination of the three grant categories.
Creative Learning Grants serve to bring teaching artists and their classroom skills into dedicated learning environments for all ages.
Community Arts Grants constitute the majority of Delaware County Arts Grant activity. The grants provide support for arts and cultural projects to community-based organizations, groups, collectives or artists. These projects are community-based arts activities offered to the public and should be open and accessible to all.
Individual Artist Grants represents a “live & work” investment in local artists. It is designed to increase support for local artist-initiated activity and to highlight the role of artists as important members of the community.
