The Delaware County Democratic Committee will hold its annual fundraising dinner May 30. The DCDC has announce that Congressman Josh Riley will be the keynote speaker and Democratic National Committee Chair Ken Martin will join the lineup. Special tribute will be paid to two outstanding local Democratic activists. Kim Van Atta of Walton, DCDC’s first vice chair will be honored as Democrat of the Year and Robin Williams of Middletown as citizen of the year.
DCDC Chair Kathleen Hayek states that this year’s dinner is promising to be truly memorable.
“We’re are beyond thrilled and so grateful that Josh and Ken will take time from their busy schedules to spend the evening with us. We look forward to the dinner as the kickoff for a very energized campaign season ahead. And, to top off the draw of this year’s dinner, we’re so fortunate to have Chef Andrew Zimmern collaborating with SUNY Delhi’s culinary team to create our dinner menu.”
The dinner will feature a limited live auction as well as a silent auction.
