Carli Pinner of Downsville, a Republican, has announced her candidacy for Delaware County Treasurer and will host a meet & greet March 22 at 4 p.m. at the Hancock House Hotel, 137 E. Front Street, Hancock.
Pinner has a wealth of experience in government accounting, finance, and technology systems. With seven years of service to Delaware County, including the past two years directly assisting the county treasurer, Pinner is well-versed in managing complex financial operations.
Her extensive background includes overseeing budgeting, financial statements, accounts receivable and payable, state and federal reporting, banking, investment management, payroll, and tax account reconciliation. She is committed to fiscal responsibility and transparency, Pinner said. Her hands-on experience has given her the tools to lead the county’s financial operations with integrity, she continued.
Pinner is a strong leader in team facilitation, focusing on collaboration, planning, and performance monitoring. She is proficient with Delaware County’s specialized software, including PDS Payroll and USL Financials, and is certified in Microsoft Excel.
Pinner aims to leverage her deep knowledge of county finances to enhance transparency and ensure responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars as the next Delaware County Treasurer, she said.
