DELHI - A steady rain did little to dampen the 41st annual Delhi Harvest Festival, which drew more than 1,000 visitors to Courthouse Square and Main Street, Saturday, Sept. 26.
Sponsored by the Greater Delhi Chamber of Commerce, the festival filled the business district with local artisans, food vendors and community organizations. There were approximately 80 booths/vendors this year.
Despite the dreary weather, visitors moved between booths and along Main Street, where vendors showcased handmade goods, food and information about local organizations.
The festival shares the weekend with SUNY Delhi’s Family and Alumni events, a deliberate pairing that organizers said helped increase foot traffic throughout the downtown.
