In Loving Memory of Doris Elsa Peterson.
It is with great sadness that we share the passing on Aug. 13, 2026, of our beloved Grandma Peterson, GiGi, friend, a cherished mother, who was loved by all who knew her. She lived in Franklin.
Doris had a special way of making everyone feel welcomed, loved, and cared for. She brought warmth and joy to every gathering and created memories that her family will treasure forever.
Her grandchildren especially cherished the time they spent with her. Some of their happiest memories are of sitting together, playing games, laughing, and enjoying one another’s company. Grandma always made those moments feel special, and her love and laughter will stay in their hearts for years to come.
Grandma also had a true love for feeding her birds and baking. Her kitchen was often filled with the wonderful smells of homemade treats, and she found great joy in baking for the people she loved. Whether she was making a favorite family recipe or simply sharing something sweet, her baking was another way she showed her love and brought people together. She also cherished all the years she taught as a teacher.
She will be deeply missed!
Grandma Peterson was truly loved by all, and she will never be forgotten. May she rest peacefully.
