DELHI - The drought warning issued in the village of Delhi was lifted the morning of Friday, Dec. 20, effective immediately. After a drought warning was issued in Delaware County by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC), Mayor Jeff Gearhart urged everyone - residents, employees, and large water users alike — to use common sense and reduce unnecessary water usage.

As of Dec. 20, the drought warning was lifted, according to an announcement by the village clerk.
