Jasper Dibble celebrates his first successful turkey hunt after harvesting a 20-pound gobbler May 2 in Bovina. Guided by his grandfather, Joe Dibble, Jasper called in the bird at 6:10 a.m. from 27 yards away. The gobbler sported a 9.5-inch beard and 1-inch spurs. Joe Dibble said he hopes the story inspires others to share their outdoor successes from across the region.
