First Thursday Dinner at St Paul’s Episcopal church will be on Thursday, Dec. 5 from 5-7 p.m. Main St. and Institute St. On the menu this month is homemade soups and the famous dessert buffet for a free will donation. Eat in or take-out are available.

Greater Franklin Food Pantry will be open by on Friday, Dec. 6 from 1-4 p.m. or by appointment, 574 Main Street. In this season of giving, the Greater Franklin Food Pantry provides food for members of our community who can use some help. NON-EXPIRED food donations and monetary donations are welcome. Faces of Franklin art exhibit by Bruce Goddard is at Good Taste Market, 438 Main Street. The exhibit will be up until Dec. 15, on Wednesdays through Sundays.

Hometown Christmas Concert at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Saturday December 21. At 5:45p.m. there will be an organ prelude performed by renowned organist Al Fedak. At 6 p.m. the Catskill Brass will perform sacred and secular holiday music. This family tradition is in its 28th year. The second half of the program features carol singing by all attendees. The original oil lamps will be lit for this annual community concert which is sponsored by Tom Morgan and Erna
Morgan McReynolds in association with the Catskill Conservatory.
