The Ouleout Valley Cemetery Association is offering to clean gravestones this summer as a fundraiser. Cemetery trustees are available and ready to clean the monuments. A suggested donation of $50 cleans a headstone. Gravestones and monuments are cleaned by hand with a biodegradable and non-toxic cleaning product called D/2 which is recommended by the National Park Service. Before-and-after photos will be provided to those who take advantage of this service. Fundraiser money will be used towards the costs of maintaining the cemetery.
