Joan Katherine Stone, 93, of Delhi, passed away on Sept. 1, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family.
Born on July 8, 1932 in Brooklyn, Joan was the daughter of the late Katherine and Thomas McCormack. Later on, Joan moved to Bayshore Long Island and then spent the last years of her life in Delhi.
Joan is survived by her son Thomas and wife Lori Stone; her daughter Kathrine Olbrich and husband Charlie; her grandchildren James (Malissa) Astuto, Linda Astuto and partner Jimi Harrington, Antoinette Astuto and Michelle (Ross) Hellinger; great-grandchildren Abigail, Averie, Gianna and Ryan.
Besides her parents, Joan was predeceased by her brother Thomas and sister-in-law Jean McCormack.
In accordance with Joan’s wishes there will be no services. A celebration of life will be held for close family and friends at a future date.
