The county supervisors and various department heads signed a letter restricting The Reporter from covering Delaware County business (unless The Reporter slanted the articles in a “favorable” light) and it’s the Delaware County GOP and committee with their collective noses out of joint? Seems to me the county GOP created the problem, got lawsuited, and now are the litigants. Apparently the lawsuit against the county has merit or it would’ve been kicked out of the courts.
The First Amendment is first for a reason. Not only is it childish to block the journalists of The Reporter from covering the Lincoln Day Dinner - it makes the county GOP look like they have something to hide.
