Livestock Foundation members are pleased to share that the annual Livestock Foundation Agriculture Scholarship applications have opened.
Livestock Foundation’s annual agriculture scholarship awards $1,000 to one or more graduating Delaware County high school students with acceptance to a college or university where they will pursue a career in agriculture.
Applicants must fill out the application form at livestockfoundation.org/agriculture-scholarship and email proof of college acceptance and a 500-word essay that answers the following question: “Why have you chosen to pursue a career in agriculture?” to info@livestockfoundation.org.
Be sure to include the area of agriculture that you plan to study and why it is important to local farming.
Applications are due Sunday, June 16.
