Middletown History Center Open July 4

The Middletown History Center, 778 Cemetery Road, Margaretville, will be open to visitors and researchers Saturday, July 4 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The grounds will also be open during those hours for fishing, wildlife watching or just sitting next to the pond.

The Nicholas J. Juried Archives and library, and an extensive collection of digitized records, photographs and materials, can be explored.

There will be an exhibit on Arkville history and raffle tickets to win a handmade clock will be available.

Time is also running out to reserve seats for “Middletown and the Revolution: Voices from the Frontier,” the living history presentation to be held July 11 and 12. Visit mtownhistory.org for more information and to purchase tickets.
