DELHI – After a well-attended inaugural year, the Mountain Mayhem 3 x 3 Basketball Tournament, formerly the Mayor’s Cup, will return to Delaware Academy July 15 to fundraise for boy’s and girl’s basketball programs.
Proceeds from the tournament will support school programs.
Last year, the tournament launched as the “Mayor’s Cup 3 x 3 Basketball Tournament,” but the name was changed to reflect the event’s Catskills location, organizer Tom Smith said.
Twenty-six teams with players ranging in age from 10 – 49 years old participated last year.
Registration closes June 30, but those who register before June 26 are guaranteed a Mountain Mayhem t-shirt. The cost to participate is $50 per team.
