ONEONTA - The deadline to nominate someone for the fourth annual Dr. Yoshiro Matsuo Compassionate Care Award is midnight Friday, Aug. 28.
The award recognizes people who demonstrate leadership, compassion, selfless service and a commitment to the broader community.
The award is named for Dr. Yoshiro Matsuo, who served as the original clinical physician for the three-county hospice organization and volunteered his medical services for more than 25 years.
