“Mere color, unspoiled by meaning, and unallied with definite form, can speak to the soul in a thousand different ways.” - Oscar Wilde

As daylight hours increase and we inch toward spring, color will be celebrated at Ogden Library. The Tiny Art Show returns this month - patrons painted tiny artworks on canvas that will be displayed in the library during February - stop to see them.

International Take Your Child to the Library Day is Saturday, Feb. 4. Kids can participate in a scavenger hunt, play board games, and make a lantern to celebrate Chinese New Year. Children five and up will be encouraged to sign up for a library card.

People of all ages are invited to join Martha Ma for a workshop at the Ogden Library called Origami Love, Feb. 8. Participants will create tokens of love to share on Valentine’s Day. At the Feb. 16 Crafterwork, those attending will make birdseed wreaths.

There are two weekly game-based groups: a new bridge group meets Tuesdays at 11 for those interested in learning to play or already know the game. Group members will be available to teach beginning bridge, review the basic rules, and engage in play.
