Ona V. Henderson, 71, of Delhi, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021 at Bassett Medical center in Cooperstown.
Born on April 26, 1949 in Walton, she was a daughter of the late Orson and Barbara (O’Hara) Bowker.
Ona was a dedicated family woman who spent her life raising her children, knitting, and crocheting. She enjoyed cooking and for a time enjoyed hunting. She worked for the Great American in Delhi, and truly enjoyed the many people she interacted with. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Delhi.
Survivors include her children Karry Sue (Mike Kirby) Henderson of Delhi; Dennis Henderson of Deposit, Dale Henderson (Heidi Webster) of Deposit; Donald (Bonny) Henderson of Avon; Tonya Henderson of Delhi; grandchildren Jeriliegh, Jessica, Jamie, Jenna (Jordon) Clark, Amanda, and Sam; great-grandchildren Skye, Wyatt, Uriah, Jared, Cody, Bella, Lydianna, Bailey, Kadon, Allie and Ryker; her siblings Pam Howland, Dan (Jean) Bowker, James (Linda) Bowker, Roger (Debbie) Bowker, Deb (Rich) Goodrich and Shawn (Terry) Hitt; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by the father of her children Ralph Henderson, a brother, W. Kelly Bowker, a grandchild Luke Constable, and brother-in-law Theron Howland.
A memorial visitation will be held at a later date to be announced at Courtney Funeral Home in Walton.
