Passport pioneers: students travel to Europe

Ten high school students from Downsville, Walton, Roscoe, and Unatego school districts gathered at the American Legion in Downsville March 28, to embark on a 10-day day trip through Europe. 

Students, members of Youth Travel Club include: Downsville Central School (DCS) students J. Chase Mabery, Aarav Patel, Addie McGlone, Hannah Bell, Carson Elmore, and Riley Brown, Walton Central School students Chayce Albanese and Eve Foster, Roscoe Central School (RCS) student Emily Irwin, and Unatego Central School student Avery Burch. Students were joined by DCS Teacher Melissa Frisbee, club organizer, Michael Frisbee, and RCS staff member Karen Wilcox. 

Students and chaperons will explore Madrid and Barcelona in Spain and Paris, France, before returning on Sunday, April 7.
