The Delhi Historical Society will host a special display of handmade quilts at the Cannon House, 47 Main Street, Delhi, Saturday, Sept. 23 from noon until 3 p.m.
The Delaware County Town and Country Quilters will display their quilts and wall hangings. A special quilt that was started by Clara Stewart will be featured. Plan to come in and admire the intricate piecing and artistry inherent in this traditional textile form.
The Delhi Historical Society will also sponsor an informational presentation at Cannon Free Library, 40 Elm Street, Delhi, Tuesday, Sept. 26. Dave Moxley will speak on the history and business of Sportsfield Specialties. Moxley is the director of sales at the large local company. Everyone is welcome. 6 p.m.
