MURAL on Main Art Gallery in Hobart will host an opening reception for its upcoming exhibition of the work of Bloomville-based artist Mao Sato Saturday, Sept. 30 from 2-4 p.m. The exhibition will run through Nov. 6 at 631 Main Street, Hobart.
Sato has an eye that captures the everyday, the mundane, the happenstance, the beautiful. With a repertoire that spans from photography, to painting, to sculpture; Sato creates a mood with his art that can be considered both serene and severe at the same time.
