Scholar-Athletes and Coaches Honored Across Delaware League

Annual awards recognize achievement in academics, athletics and decades of service

The Delaware League has named its 2025–26 Joseph P. Beck Senior Scholar Athletes, along with certificate recipients and a new class of Coaches Hall of Fame inductees, marking another year of recognition for achievement both on the field and in the classroom.

Senior Scholar-Athletes

This year’s Joseph P. Beck Senior Scholar Athlete plaque winners represent schools across the league, with honorees including Gabriellah Bene of Andes Central School; Caleb Marino and Abigail Vroman of Charlotte Valley Central School; and Abigail Dwon and Winnie Li of Hunter-Tannersville Central School.

Jefferson Central School is represented by Rose Bevilacqua and Bailey Mead, while Roxbury Central School honorees include Addy Hynes and Savannah Pettersen.

From South Kortright Central School, Carlee Dropp and Annlyse Haynes were recognized. Stamford Central School’s Kaitlyn Stoutenburg and Windham-Ashland-Jewett Central School’s Hannah Tuttle complete the list of plaque recipients.

Certificate Winners

Additional recognition was given to nominees receiving certificates: Lilly Temple of Andes Central School; Teyha Coloa of Downsville Central School; David Cammer and Marja Cudemo of Gilboa-Conesville Central School; Emily Eklind of Stamford Central School; and Jack Pellettier of Windham-Ashland-Jewett Central School.

Coaches Hall of Fame

Three longtime contributors to Delaware League athletics were inducted into the Coaches Hall of Fame: Melinda Koerner of Gilboa-Conesville Central School, George Proctor of Roxbury Central School and Janice Hitchcock of Windham-Ashland-Jewett Central School.

Together, the honorees reflect the league’s dual emphasis on academic distinction and athletic commitment, as well as the enduring influence of coaches whose work has shaped generations of student-athletes.
