Posted

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Delaware County invites eligible Delaware County farm businesses to apply for a grant to implement eligible projects to improve of farm operation viability through investment in farm infrastructure or a limited payment of 2022 crop expenses. The competitive grant program is offered in response to challenging economic conditions experienced by farms resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, including disrupted markets and supply-chains which have increased input costs and price volatility and the need to adapt to emerging market opportunities.

Financial support for this grant was awarded through the Delaware County American Rescue Fund Committee with approval from the Delaware County Board of Supervisors, and uses Delaware County American Rescue Fund money.

Applications for funding are due by 4 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31.
