DELHI - Charles A. Walsh, 30, Sidney, pleaded guilty to drug possession as part of a negotiated plea and sentence in Delaware County Court, May 28.
Walsh pleaded guilty to one count of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, admitting that he possessed fentanyl with the intent to sell it in the village of Sidney Feb. 6, 2024, in exchange for a prison sentence of 5 1/2 years followed by two years of parole.
Walsh is being held at the Delaware County Jail without bail awaiting sentencing scheduled for July 10.
