The Share the Bounty free community dinner will be held today - Thursday, Feb. 26 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Parish Center, 15 Liberty Street. The meal will be hosted by the Masonville Neighbors serving chicken and biscuits with gravy, buttered noodles, stuffing, green beans and sheet cake with berries. All are welcome.

The Rotary Club of Sidney will meet Friday, March 6 at noon. Guest speaker will be Chris Tuttle, owner of Village Variety in Unadilla. The club meets at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 139 West Main Street.
The Southern Tier Music Fest 2026 will include a karaoke sing-off contest for juniors and adults. Entries can be submitted online to Northern Star Productions. Judging will take place Thursday, March 19 from 6 to 10 p.m., Friday, Apr. 10 from 6 to 10 p.m. and Saturday, May 23 from 1 to 4 p.m. at General Clinton Canoe Regatta. The top two adults and top junior will perform at the July 4 Music Fest.

Unadilla

The Unadilla Community Food Pantry and the Unadilla Methodist Church have coordinated to provide a Blessing Box for those in need in Unadilla. The box is on the front porch of the Community House. If you would like to help stock it, here is a list of some items needed: pasta, rice, cereal, crackers, soup in box, instant potatoes, boxed mac and cheese, tea, coffee, toilet paper, paper towels, socks, gloves, hats, mittens. All items must be brand new. Because of low temperatures no glass, cans or plastic items. To donate leave items on the front bench in the Unadilla office or place them in the Blessing Box.
A free breakfast in the basement of the First United Methodist Church, 170 Main Street is held on the first and third Saturdays of each month from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Take out only. Call 607-369-20 52 for reservations.
The Unatego Central School District is holding a hygiene drive for items needed for the students’ hygiene closet. Items for donations include deodorant, maxi pads, tampons, hairbrushes, hair ties, feminine spray, shampoo, bar soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, floss and underwear any size. Drop off locations include the elementary and high school, Browns Pharmacy, Village Variety, House of Consignment, Green Giraffe and Unadilla Library.
The Unatego Elementary School is participating in the plastic film recycling challenge sponsored by The Otsego County Conservation Association. Clean plastic film may be left at the school during school hours at the school bus entrance door. You may also leave plastics at the library (recycling bin inside hallway). They help with the challenge. The school will be collecting until April 22.
Village board meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at the firehouse, 77 Clifton Street.
Town board meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at the town municipal building, 1648 state Highway 7.

The Mobile Food Pantry sponsored by the Community Cupboard of Edmeston and Chobani visits the Unadilla area on the first and third Fridays of every month from 1 to 2 p.m. on the lot next to Catskill Shed, corner of routes 7 and 8.
The Unadilla Methodist Church has a clothing donation shed at the parking lot sponsored by Troop 1 BSA. You may stop anytime to donate clothing, shoes, blankets, sheets, curtains, stuffed animals.
