Stamford rabies vaccination clinic Sept. 13

There will be a free rabies vaccination clinic Tuesday, Sept. 13, from 5 - 7 p.m. for dogs, cats and ferrets at Stamford Fire Hall, 111 Main Street, Stamford.

• If you are not feeling well, stay home. 

• By law, every dog and cat must be vaccinated against rabies.

• Cats and dogs can get their first rabies vaccine at three months of age.

• Bring previous vaccination records to verify if your pet is eligible for three-year coverage.

• Dogs must be on a leash and under proper control. Cats and ferrets should be in carrying cases.

• It is your responsibility to clean up after your pet.

• Veterinarians are only available at the advertised clinic time - no earlier.
