The 2024 Summer Concert Series in Stamford will kick off with “A Song & A Story” Sunday, June 9, from 3-5:30 p.m. in The Function at Catskills Junction, 28 Railroad Avenue, Stamford. The show will feature local musicians Jim Kopp, Randy Miritello, Bobby Curious and Doug Decker. This concert is a revival of a previous series that started in 2012 that features singer/songwriters who tell the stories behind their original songs and then perform them for the audience. As are all the concerts in this series this performance is free and open to the public thanks to our sponsors.
After this initial event, Kopp, the founder of The High Noon Concert Series will perform Thursday, June 13, from noon to 1 p.m. The High Noon Tunes performances will continue every Thursday from noon to 1, June through September. This year there is an added spotlight on singer/songwriters on the last Thursday of the month.
Concerts are held in Stamford Veterans Memorial Park, 97 Main Street, Stamford. The rain location is The Function at Catskills Junction, 28 Railroad Avenue, Stamford.

The Wednesday evening concert series takes place once a month from 6 to 7:30 p.m.: The Driftwoods - June 19, Off The Record - July 17, Those Darn Cats - Aug. 14 and wraps up with Bourbon & Branch Sept. 11.
The Sunday afternoon concert series takes place once a month from 3 to 4:30p.m.: The FisherCats - June 30, Yolanda Bush & The Coolwater Collective - July 28, The Jupiters - Aug. 25 and Terry Radigan Band - Sept. 15.
