STAMFORD — The Party Theater will present its fifth annual immersive theater walk, “Microcosm,” on Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Mutual Aid Society in Stamford.
The outdoor performance, which begins at 6 p.m., will feature original works of dance, music and theater built around this year’s theme, “Lore.”
Audience members will follow a lantern-lit trail through a pasture, barn and the edge of a pond, encountering performances in dance, theater, music, puppetry, poetry and film. The program draws on folk and mythological stories, including ghost stories, Rip Van Winkle, Arachne’s web and Czech fairy tales.
The 2026 artists are Clare Bierman, Djahari Clark, Sarah France, David Kamm, Ilona Kohlova, Joanna Mendl-Shaw, Rhea Nowak, Jami Reimer, Shane Perry, Mikey Rosenbaum, Rod Sauquillo and Glenna Yu.
Adrian Shirk is the program director. Kristin “Kiki” McCalley and Marisa Caruso are producers. Moonstar Lighting is providing lighting design, and E.C. Hooper is creating the audio environments.
A food pop-up, drinks by donation and additional festivities will follow the performance.
Tickets are $20, with sliding-scale options available. The organizers advise that the event requires considerable walking over occasionally uneven ground.
The Mutual Aid Society is at 1863 County Highway 30 in Stamford.
Tickets are available online, and additional information is available at: https://thepartytheater.com
