Steven Thomas Bishop Roff, 84, of Masonville, passed away July 22, 2025, at his home.
He was born Nov. 10, 1940, son of Marjorie E. Bishop in Albany.
Steven was adopted at four years of age and was raised by Vera, Dorathy and Myrtle Bishop.
Steve was a graduate of Sidney High School and in 1971 he married the love of his life Barbara A. Patrick. After 45 years of marriage, Barbara predeceased him in 2016.
Steven worked for Butts Excavating in Masonville for 52 years.
Steve enjoyed hunting. He was president of Delaware County Federation of Sportsman Clubs for over 20 years. He also served on the Masonville Town Board and the Masonville Cemetery Board, and was fire commissioner.
He is survived by four children: Pamela Perry, Terry DeMott, Cheryl Wood (Dan Rowe), and Jeffery (Vera) Wood; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law Marjorie and Robert Bunch, many great friends, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Steven was predeceased by his sister Mary E. Williams and son-in-law Jerry DeMott.
Friends are invited to call Tuesday, July 29 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, Sidney.
