Roadwork throughout Delaware County begins July 7

A multi-week road resurfacing project on Monday, July 7, focusing on oil-and-stone operations across a dozen county routes, including: County Route 9 and sequentially 29, 30, 33, 12, and 10 before shifting to 4, 20, 67, 27S, and concluding on 47.

Resurfacing is expected to take two to three weeks to complete, contingent on weather conditions. During this time, drivers are urged to exercise heightened caution. Temporary speed reductions will be posted, as the resurfacing process involves loose stone that can pose a hazard to passing vehicles.
