ONEONTA - The Susquehanna Adirondack Club will host a series of hikes, paddling outings and social events throughout August, offering opportunities to explore parks, trails and natural areas across Otsego and Schoharie counties.
Unless otherwise noted, hikes begin at 9:45 a.m. Details, registration information and any schedule updates are available at susqadk.org. Participants may also call or text the club’s Hike Line at 607-431-8010.
The August schedule includes:
Tuesday, Aug. 4: Hike at College Camp, SUNY Oneonta.
Tuesday, Aug. 11: Hike at Vroman’s Nose in Middleburgh.
Saturday, Aug. 15: City of the Hills Hike in Oneonta. Advance registration is required.
Tuesday, Aug. 18: Hike and paddle at Glimmerglass State Park in Cooperstown.
Wednesday, Aug. 19: Potluck gathering and walk at Fortin Park in Oneonta.
Tuesday, Aug. 25: Hike to Civil War Cave on Lower Reservoir Road in Oneonta.
